A aerial dance theatre piece based on Charlotte Corbeil-Coleman’s true short story, MALARIA LULLABY is a collaboration of a wide variety of artists. An elaborate and large scale projection design was filled with all custom created imagery. Hallucenogenic and bizarre, our palette was colourful, evocative and at times frightening. The projection canvas was a blood red scrim and three panels of white mosquito netting, creating moments of clarity and strangeness in depth. The score was made up of remixed rock songs and frightening sound effects.
